Catmosphere The Cat Kingdom
Calling all cat lovers, buy a plane ticket to Chiang Mai, Thailand and come to Catmosphere. I already want to go back as I write this article.
I've been to one cat cafe in the states before, but Catmosphere totally blows that one out of the water.
The atmosphere lives up to its name, Catmosphere, with "Catstronauts" and posters with space cats on the walls. They seem to really care about the cats as they walked around making sure everyone was carefully playing with them.
It was such a clean place that they even sold food. The other cat cafe I went to I would have never ordered food. Here I saw people eating cheesecake that looked amazing.
It's free to go inside, but you just need to buy at least one beverage each to sit down. Their iced green milk tea was awesome. At the cost of a drink about $2, it was well worth it to have new fuzzy friends for the day.
It is a small intimate setting so you're given the opportunity to enjoy all the cats. When we went on a Sunday afternoon, there were only 6 people and then we ended up having the place to ourselves for 30 minutes. Such a relaxing and fun afternoon. I can't get over the cats' expressions and truly how funny they were.
